Figure drawing "Ruffian" was selected for display at the Oak Park Art League. This juried national call (Jurors: Susan Hall and William Ewers) sought to showcase a diverse spectrum of work based on the human form, yet pushing the boundaries of how we depict ourselves and the bodies we inhabit.

Awarded a merit scholarship based on portfolio review to participate in an intensive 1-week summer program at the Chicago campus to work alongside incredible faculty of artists, designers, and scholars to create portfolio-quality work, and learn new skills, experiment, take risks, and deepen research and ideas. Connected with peers from around the globe, engage with dynamic demonstrations geared toward passions, explore museum resources, and receive mentorship through comprehensive faculty advising. Upon successful completion of the program, able to transfer the earned credits to the college of choice.
