Participation in an intensive 1-week summer program at the Chicago campus to work alongside incredible faculty of artists, designers, and scholars to create portfolio-quality work, and learn new skills, experiment, take risks, and deepen research and ideas. Connected with peers from around the globe, engage with dynamic demonstrations geared toward passions, explore museum resources, and receive mentorship through comprehensive faculty advising. Upon successful completion of the program, able to transfer the earned credits to the college of choice. Awarded a merit scholarship based on portfolio review.
Off the Wall is a youth employment program in which young adults age 16-22 apprentice with master artists to design, construct, and install mosaic and bricolage murals in Oak Park and neighboring communities. The program began in 2005 and has since overseen the installation of over fifteen large-scale murals. The program is a great opportunity for young artists to engage in meaningful and enriching employment which provides experience and benefits the community.

Stage Crew creates, designs, builds and has fun with all backstage areas. We will also be certifying students in the backstage areas through the USITT.
Anime Club wants to get back to what we love, watching anime together and talking about it!
The science fiction/fantasy club is a social club dedicated to the enjoyment and creation of all materials relating to science fiction, fantasy and any combination of the two. You can expect to experience discussion, debates, game play, viewing films, larping, D&D, boffering and more!
Japanese club welcomes any students who are interested in Japan to participate in cultural activities. I enjoy origami, calligraphy, crafts, cooking, games etc. with other students interested in Japan.
Pan Asian Leadership Society is a diverse and multifaceted club in which students can engage in meaningful discussions and activities pertaining to Asian and Asian American identities. We discussed the experience of AAPI as a racial minority in America, socialize and celebrate Asian American culture by enjoying a variety of Asian cuisines and activities.
Community work and building through design. Our goals are to expose students to various different forms of digital art, and enable them to create whatever they want to in whatever said art form they choose.
I learned how to saw, drill, sand, file, polish, and solder metals (copper, brass, nickel, and sterling silver) to make small wearable or non-wearable art. We worked in cohorts with student leaders as the teachers to learn skills.
Sign Language Club is for anyone who is interested in learning American Sign Language and learning about Deaf culture.
Art Club is a place for creative thinkers and lovers of art to come together and engage in everything visual art. It allowed for individual art making or specific project ideas. It was a great place to meet other artists and have a dedicated a space/time to create.
